ITHRA Museum
Saudi Aramco
In early 2008, I was invited to join an international advisory panel for the King Abdulaziz Centre for World Culture in Dhahran—one of the most significant cultural developments in the Gulf region.
Working alongside internationally renowned museum professionals, I contributed to the concept development for the cultural centre, helping to define its scope and purpose within the Saudi Arabian cultural landscape. My primary focus was thematic development of the museum facility. I developed the conceptual framework and crafted storylines for the museum galleries, transforming broad themes into compelling narratives.
The culmination of this work was a comprehensive interpretive plan covering three major museum galleries: the Arabian Peninsula's natural history, Art of the Islamic world and Saudi Arabian social history. In October 2008, the plan was formally adopted for detailed design development, providing the blueprint that would guide the museum's creation in the years to come.
